For example, she had to take on her mother’s role in caring for her father and two brothers due to her mother’s death. Then, in addition, she took care of her dying father at the tender age of 18. 4. You did a good job describing her role in the White House and telling of her passion which was to encourage others to volunteer. It was interesting to note that she obtained paintings and antiques for use in the White House.

1. Don’t start out saying “Hi, I am doing a podcast on_________.” Instead, just begin your presentation. 2. You should have given the names of her brothers. 3. You failed to state how old she was when her husband became president. 4. You didn’t mention the dates of her husband’s presidency. 5. You said absolutely nothing about Watergate or the impeachment of her husband, two historically important events.
